Charlotte Simpson

Charlotte Ann Simpson, 73, of Bryant; departed this world on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 for her journey home to be with Jesus our Lord. She was born July 25, 1940 to Bennie Ray and Juanita Griffe in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Simpson was preceded in death by her mother and her brother, Douglas Ray Griffe.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony (Tony) Simpson of Bryant; her father; two sons, Benjamin D. Montgomery of Little Rock and Wayne D. Montgomery and wife Shelly of Bryant; one grandson, Derrick W. Montgomery and wife Monique of Bauxite; three granddaughters, Amanda Peavey and husband Paul of Benton, Angela McAnally and husband Zach of Benton and Lexi Montgomery of Bryant; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Judy Griffe of Hensley and two nephews, Todd Griffe and Bryan Griffe.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 3 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 4 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery.
