Obituary for
Dale Bradley Horton
Dale
Bradley Horton was born August 22, 1939. He was the son of Duard and
Frances Horton, who preceded him in death. Big brother Theda Horton.
Felicia Horton (Buddy Emmerson), and Lois Criswell (Bob) Criswell.
Husband
of Lind Helms Horton for 46 years and loved and cared for her from their
first date.
Father
Rebekah Horton Gonzalez (Manuel), and Daulton Bradley Horton.
Grandfather of Hannah, Grace, Hope and Beth Gonzalez. Great Grandfather
of Madie, Marco and Rosie; and a friend to many, many more.
Dale
retired from the Little Rock 911 Call Center in January 2000. He also
worked for Horton’s Enterprise Printing. The Arkansas Democrat, and
Home IV Specialists.
Dale
loved fishing and gardening, (particularly his muscadines) and he loved
talking with people, especially those he came in contact with while
working for Home IV Specialists. It was his love for his wife and family
and his love for God and salvation through Jesus Christ that saw him
through a 15 year battle with cancer until he arrived home on March 6,
2015.
He
will “leave the light on” for all those who will follow him.
A
home-going service will be 2:00p.m., March 14, 2015, at Community Park
Church. 4620 S. Shobe Road, Bryant, Ar. 72022
Memorials
may be given to Community Park Church or the American Cancer Society.
