Garlton Adon Carter, 73, of Benton left this world to dwell in the House of the Lord on September 7, 2013. He was born on April 6, 1940 to Ralph and Birgie (Pharis) in Dardanelle, Arkansas. He was a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Suzy (Edwards), his children, Dewayne, Kori, and Brett, grandchildren, Erica, Shawn, Nick, Jake, Dylan, Matthew, Jax, Kennedy, and Emma, as well as five great-grandchildren. He was a man of great faith, and will forever be missed.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Ashby’s.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Pine Crest Cemetery. Minister will be Rev. Brittany Richardson-Watson.
