Jean L. Archer, 80, of Fort Smith (formerly of North Little Rock), passed away on July 11, 2020. She was born on July 10, 1940 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Thomas and Mamie Stanphill.

Jean retired from Southwestern Bell after many years of service and was an avid antiquarian. Her grandchildren were her life and she loved spending time with them.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Archer Sr.; and son James Archer Jr.

She is survived by two sons, Scott Archer (Stacey) of Fort Smith and Darin Archer (Lisa) of Texarkana, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Vicki Archer; twelve grandchildren, Amber, Trey, Jessica, Shane, Dallas, Kaitlynn, Brooke, Tori, Austin, Gabe, Chase and Hayden; eight great grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Howard Stanphill Jr. (Judy); and one sister, Helen Coyne.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 12:00-1:00PM at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock, followed by a graveside service at 2:00PM at Bayou Meto Cemetery in Jacksonville.
