Kay
White Quinn, 79, passed away October 16, 2019 in Houston, Texas. She was
born on July 23, 1940 in Little Rock, Arkansas and was a 1958 graduate
of Little Rock Central High School.
Kay
was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Frank M. Quinn; her
parents, Harry K. and Mildred Cockmon White; and her sister, Debra
White. She is survived by her sister, Lynn Hotchkiss; three daughters,
Susie Quinn Brough (Mike) of Tomball, Texas, Shawn Quinn Cervantes of
Conway, Arkansas, and Amanda Witcher (Kirk) of Cherry Valley, Arkansas;
10 grandchildren, Brittny Daubenheyer, Brandon Brough, Joshua Brough,
Kayla Brough, Eric Cervantes, Dylan Cervantes, Christopher Corker,
Caroline Witcher, Anna Witcher, and Rose Witcher; and two
great-grandchildren, Alice Brough and Claire Daubenheyer.
Kay
was a member of First Baptist Church of Sherwood and loved playing
bridge at the Little Rock Bridge Club. She was a lifelong Razorback fan,
and was the best flower gardener in the family. She enjoyed going to the
Symphony and The Repertory Theatre with her friends, fulfilled a dream
of attending Broadway, and was able to see Hamilton with its original
cast. Most of all, she loved Jesus and lived her life to serve him and
others.
Memorial
services will be Saturday, November 2nd, 11 a.m., at First Baptist
Church of Sherwood with Dr. Ricky Lee officiating. Friends may visit the
family from 10-11 a.m.
A
private burial will be at the National Cemetery in Little Rock,
Arkansas, date pending. Memorials may be made to LeBohneur Foundation,
