Phillip Joiner
(June
1, 1939 - February 21, 2012)
Ralph Phillip Sams Joiner, age 71, passed away Tuesday, February 21,
2012 from surgery complications. Services will be held Friday, February
24, 2012 at 2:00pm at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on
McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN. He served 30 years in the USMCR. He worked
for Crown Ford and will be remembered by his many customers and friends.
He is survived by: his beloved companion Lynda Seiter; his mother, Lola
Joiner; his sister Sue Spence, a daughter Kelli Joiner of Little Rock; a
half sister and brother Linda Hyams and Anthony Sams of Oklahoma.
Phillip was preceded in death by three of his children: April, Gwen and
Phillip Wayne Joiner. Phillip was cared for in his last days by the many
caring employees of St Thomas Alive Hospice and we will always be
thankful to them.
