Wanda Sue Jones, 77, of Norcross, Ga., was born into eternal life from her home on Saturday, October 7, 2017. Born into earthly life on July 1, 1940, in Little Rock, Ark., she was the daughter of David Martin and Lola Garner Jackson.

She married Jerald "Jerry" Allen Jones on June 2, 1961, at the United Methodist Church in Falls City, Nebr. They were blessed with two children: Kevin (Joni) Jones of West DesMoines, Iowa, and Kimberly Shaver of Norcross, Georgia. Jerry preceded her in death on May 31, 2014.

Wanda trained as a dental hygienist at the University of Missouri Kansas City. She spent most of her working years as an executive secretary. She worked for Kerber, Eck and Braeckel, CPA's, St. Luke's Medical Center, and retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City.

She was active in numerous civic groups, especially enjoying participation with the Veteran's Day parade in Falls City, Nebr. She was a member of the Falls City United Methodists Church, where she and Jerry worked with the youth in the Logos ministry.

Loving survivors include her children, Kevin and Kim; four grandsons: Justin and Jared Jones and Austin and Ben Shaver; and two brothers: David Jackson of Houston, Tx, and Don Jackson of Little Rock, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Jess, Bob, and John, and a sister, Lillian.

Visitation was at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home in Falls City, Nebr., on Friday, October 13, 2017. Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. Burial followed in Steele Cemetery.Hutchings Funeral Chapel handled arrangements and transportation.
